Vicinitee makes the move into the retail sector

A complete online management system - connecting retail districts, staff and the public - has been launched following a joint venture between the pioneering property management and community website Vicinitee.com and leading retail software specialist Comgenic.

Both companies have joined forces to create a suite of internet-based solutions for shopping centre and retail markets, under the banner of Vicinitee Retail.

Now shopping centre managers and other retail professionals can tap into a wealth of tools online; Vicinitee Retail has a sophisticated website and content management system at its heart enabling information to flow between centre management, retailers and shoppers. 

Other features include the ability to tailor effective marketing campaigns, a specialist web-based security facility to make environments safer for employees, retailers and shoppers, as well as links to sales analysis and visitor counting applications.

Vicinitee Retail manages touch screens and kiosks utilising the same content management system and incorporates third party information, such as traffic and travel reports as well as managing revenue-generating advertising opportunities.
