Onwards and Upwards; What We've Been Up To In 2010!

2010 has been an exciting and busy year at Vicinitee. We're proud to say we've been involved with some of the biggest and best properties and new developments.

ONE NEW CHANGE is Land Securities’ latest development located on Cheapside in the heart of the City of London.  It is London’s newest shopping destination, complete with cafés and restaurants from renowned chefs as well as flagship menswear and womenswear fashion brands, all set overlooking London’s most famous landmark, St Paul’s Cathedral. 

Vicinitee powers the retail website for One New Change as well as much of the back end property management services. Early next year we'll be rolling out our suite of commercial tools, as occupiers take up the office space.

Working with Legal & General we installed our community product and property management tools in the fabulous Central Saint Giles, designed by Renzo Piano. Central Saint Giles is more than an office building. It is a new workplace comprising office space, retail, restaurants, cafes, residential and outdoor public piazza.

We are delighted to have been involved with providing a bespoke service for commercial occupiers the length and breadth of Regent Street on behalf of The Crown Estates. This truly is one of the great addresses in the property world and we're looking forward to working closely with the terrific Crown Estates team to deliver more and more value to their customers.

Ropemaker Place, developed by British Land, is one of the great new office buildings in the City of London and Vicinitee provide a range of services to the property. Our community product provides occupiers with easy access to the best the local area has to offer and our commercial tools help power the smooth running of the building. For occupier Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ we have developed a suite of custom tools using our technology to help them manage their own space.

Partnering with our good friends at Hammerson we installed our retail products in The Rock shopping centre in Bury. This was the largest retail and leisure destination to open in the area in 2010 featuring three new department stores: Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and Primark, 60 other stores and eight new restaurants and coffee shops together with a cinema and family bowling and entertainment centre.

The above join the list of exceptional developments that Vicinitee is involved with. We now provide our services to 180 commercial properties, 12 shopping centres, and interact on a daily basis with tens of thousands of people from 100's of leading occupiers.

In 2011 we are looking forward to continuing to work with the very best clients and properties in the industry, and are especially pleased that early in the year we will be launching our product for the magnificent new Heron Tower, undertaking a major upgrade for Paternoster Square and getting deeply involved with the widespread redevelopment about to start at Broadgate.
